Collaborating on 3D modeling is the answer to building your next road.

The need for integrated digital technology to provide roadway improvements, enhance safety along corridors, and address face site constraints is high. Developing workflows that involve exporting and refining 3D models no longer needs to be time-consuming and difficult. 3D modeling is the solution to data and design integration.

OpenRoads™ Designer has specific tools for creating 3D models quickly, evaluating geometrics and specific parameters. Leveraging collaborative 3D modeling helps teams evaluate alternative designs and fully evaluate construction impacts and constructability, so you can determine an optimal roadway design to meet project goals.

Don’t miss out on learning how AtkinsRéalis used 3D modeling to transform an eight-mile corridor section, called the Floyd Hill Project. Join us to see how OpenRoads enables you convey design intent, project impacts, and community integration, critical to project success.

What you will learn:

  • How 3D modeling features handle topography, environmental, and coordination challenges
  • How 3D modeling capabilities tackle site specific challenges and constraints
  • Successful ways to address severe bottlenecks, improve traffic flow and design speeds, and smooth access at major interchanges and front road intersections
  • How to leveraging OpenRoads Designer to establish a digital visual context to stakeholders.

Visualizing your entire bridge in 3D is a transformative approach for modern bridge projects.

With OpenBridge®, you can see every detail of your bridge, from the substructure to the superstructure, in a comprehensive 3D model. This capability helps engineers understand the design better and allows project managers to identify potential conflicts early. The advanced 3D modeling tools are intuitive and provide an ease of use that is unmatched in the industry.

Sharing the 3D model with clients enhances communication and collaboration, making it easier to explain design concepts and advance the project efficiently. OpenBridge’s 3D modeling tools are designed to support your project every step of the way.

Join our product experts, Joe Sefchik and Nupur Turakhia, for a live webinar and discover how OpenBridge Designer can revolutionize your bridge projects.

What you will learn:

  • How JMT puts 3D bridge models to work on multiple designs
  • How to see your bridge model come to life
  • How to customize the model to view exactly what structural elements you need to see
  • How your model is used to create sheets, updates with redesign, and how it can aid collaboration between parties
