Modulus of Subgrade Reactions Beyond Soil Reports for Structural Engineers

Webinar | Modulus of Subgrade Reactions Beyond Soil Reports for Structural Engineers

Available On-Demand

While soil reports provide a starting point, they’re not the be-all and end-all. In geotechnical engineering, we often encounter soils that are as complex and unpredictable as the weather. They’re layered, heterogeneous, anisotropic, nonlinear, and exhibit a range of time-, stress-, and strain-dependent behaviors. This complexity renders empirical equations somewhat inadequate, highlighting the need for more nuanced and advanced analysis.

The webinar consists of:

  • Rethinking Conventional Methods
  • Risks of Relying Solely on Soil Reports
  • Comprehensive Approach for Structural Engineers
  • Role of SSI & 3D FEA
  • Aligning with SBC 303 & Local Codes
  • Case Studies from Saudi Arabia and the GCC
  • Going Further? Innovative tools: AI, ML, InSAR Satellite Remote Sensing
  • Q&A Session

Join us for an informative webinar where we’ll delve into the fascinating world of PLAXIS.
